. EFFLUENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS TAC NO. 67335)
By letter dated February 16, 1988, Carolina Power 5 Light Company (CP8L) submitted a request to amend the Shearon Harris Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETS).
While this request was in process, Generic Letter (GL) 89-01, "Implementation of Programmatic Controls for Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications in the Administrative Controls Section of the Technical Specifications and the Relocation of Procedural Details of RETS to the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual or to the Process Control Program,"
was issued and provides specific guidance for amendments related to Technical Specifications of this type.
Based on the guidance of GL 89-01 and our understanding that you intend to resubmit your amendment request in conformance with the GL, we are ceasing further review activity under TAC No.
67335 and intend to close that action.
