Harris Unit 1 operated at a 0.0 percent Availability Factor for the month of September with a -1.21 percent capacity factor. There was one continued offline refueling outage, the refueling outage is in progress. Details are provided on the Unit Shutdowns and Power Reduction Sheet.

There are 157 fuel assemblies in the reactor vessel and 52 spent 'fuel assemblies in the Harris Unit 1 spent fuel pool and 0 assemblies in the new fuel pool.

Fuel reload is complete and 52 assemblies will remain in the Harris Unit 1 spent fuel pool for storage.

refueling outage, During the ramp down the running malnfeed Pump (1B) tripped on low flow due to a recirc valve failing to open on load decrease.

As a result, both motor driven AFW pumps started as required, The cause of the mainfeed pump (IB) trip was determined to be a low setpoint on the recirculation flow switch ~ The flow switch had drifted out of calibration.

Corrective action includes:

recalibration and a more frequent calibration frequency to prevent recurrence.
