Carolina Power R Light Company (CP6cL) submits a copy of the Electrical Separation Analysis for allowing a one-inch separation between an enclosed non-Class lE raceway and an open top Class lE raceway (Attachment 1). This information is being submitted to you at the request of Regio'n II as discussed in the referenced letters.

-As a result of this analysis, FSAR Section 8.3.1.2 will be revised as shown in . This FSAR section will be formally revised in 3uly 1985 by FSAR Amendment No. 21 at which time CPdcL considers this matter closed.
