By letter dated March 25, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14091A222) AREVA Inc. (AREVA) submitted for US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review Topical Report (TR) ANP-10332P, Revision 0, AURORA-B: An Evaluation Model for Boiling Water Reactors; Application to Loss of Coolant Accident Scenarios.
The NRC staff conducted a regulatory audit to increase their level of knowledge and understanding of the topic and associated methodologies on May 16 through 18, 2017, at the AREVA facilities in Richland, WA. The audit results will provide additional support for the NRC staff safety evaluation of the TR. The audit report is enclosed.
