(NRC) inspection
conducted

R. Brewer"on April 25,
1988 through
June
3,
1988. 'he inspection
included
a review of activities
authorized
for your Turkey Point facility.
At the
conclusion of the inspection,
the findings were discussed
with those
members of
your staff identified in the enclosed
inspection report.
Areas
examine'd
during the inspection
are identified in the report.
Within
these
areas,
the inspection
consisted
of selected
examinations
of procedures
and
representative
records,
interviews with personnel,
and observation
of
activities in progress.
The violation described
in the enclosed
inspection
report is currently under
consideration
for escalated
enforcement
action.
Accordingly,
no Notice of
Violation is
being
issued
at this
time
and
no
response
to this letter is
required.
Please
be advised at this time the
number
and characterization
of
the violation
may
change
as
a result of further
NRC review.
This
issue
will be
discussed
during the
Enforcement
Conference
which is scheduled
for
July 13,
1988.
In accordance
with Section
2.790 of the
NRC's
"Rules of Practice,"
Part 2,
Title 10,
Code of Federal
Regulations,
a copy of this letter and its enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
