N/A At 0426 Unit 1 received a reactor trip signal as a result of a turbine trip due to low condenser vacuum.
The cause of the loss of condenser vacuum was a cracked socket weld connecting the 'drain trap to the condenser A steam dump control valve.
At 1153 while attempting to parallel the main generator to the grid excessive field voltage was applied.
This resulted in damage to the transformer core and the accumulation of hydrogen in the transformer.
