Cook Nuclear Plant, Units
1 and 2, authorized

NRC Operating Licenses

DPR-58 and No.
DPR-74 and to the discussion of
our findings with Mr. W. G. Smith, Jr.,
and others of your staff during the
course of and at the conclusion of the inspection.

This inspection
included
an examination of your fuse-breaker
coordination
studies
as they related to the
250
VDC safety
busses
and
a review of a
Licensee
Event Report associated
with the Local Shutdown
and Indication panels.
Within these
areas,
the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of
procedures
and representative
records,
observations,
and interviews with
personnel.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared
to be in violation
of NRC requirements.
We are releasing this report at this time for your information.
Following an
Enforcement
Conference,
you will be notified by separate
correspondence
of our
decision regarding enforcement
actions
based
on the findings of this inspection.
No written response
is required until you are notified of the proposed
enforcement actions.
