As a result of our evaluation, we conclude that the revised analyses and evaluation of the feed water line break for D.
C.
Cook Units 1 and 2 does not preclude operation at licensed power.
We understand that for both Units 1 and 2, the revised analyses will be included in the next FSAR update, as per your commitment.

C.
Cook Nuclear Plant Unit No. 2.
The error was made in the Unit 2 main feed line or main steam line break analysis in which the higher auxiliary feedwater flow from a set of pumps was incorrectly assumed to feed the intact steam generators.
Since it was not clear at that time that Unit 1 was not similarly involved, both units were reduced in power pending a re-analysis with correct auxiliary feedwater flow rates to the intact steam generators.
On October 30, 1984, the revised analysis for Unit 2 was submitted along with an evaluation of the Unit 1 feed water line break.
We have reviewed the October 30, 1984 letter and analyses.
Our evaluation is enclosed.
