FEMA FINAL EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE MAY, 11-13, 1993 EXERCISE OF OFFSITE RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS FOR THE PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION The purpose of this letter is to transmit a copy of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) evaluation report of the May 11-13, 1993 emergency preparedness exercise at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.
The report notes that no deficiencies were identified during the exercise.
- However, 21 Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs) were identified.
FEMA Region IX will coordinate with the State of Arizona to correct the ARCAs on or before the next scheduled biennial exercise.
You are requested to followup with offsite officials on the ARCAs.
