Unit l, Il, and Ill 1993 Annual Emergency Plan Exercise 60 Day Submittal File: 93-002-493 Enclosed for your review'nd comment are four (4) copies of the "1993 Exercise Manual" to support the 1993 PVNGS Annual Emergency Plan Exercise (Exercise). This information is being provided at this time in order to conform with the 60 day submittal requirement prior to conduct of the Exercise.
The Exercise is scheduled for May 11, 1993.
ln addition, as discussed with Gail Goode of your staff last month, the following items are provided as clarification to her comments:
APS willprovide a technical advisor in the State Emergency Operations Center and staff support in the Joint Emergency Center for the FEMA Evaluated Ingestion Pathway Zone
(!PZ) Exercise.
The onsite monitoring teams will don protective clothing under the following circumstances:
Simulation willbe allowed only after each person has demonstrated use ofAnti-Cs, respirators, and SCBAs, as driven by'the scenario.
Once demonstrated on one team, an individual will not be required to dress out again.

The Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) willprovide support at the Radiological Emergency Assistance Team (REAT) Forward.
Arizona Public Service Company requests that the information in the enclosure be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(a).
