SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR THE MONTH DOCKET NO. 50-528 UNIT NAME PVNGS-1 DATE COMPLETED BY B S Ecklund Se tember 1992 09/01 0000 Unit began the month in Mode 1; 1008 Reactor Power.

09/28 2137 Entered Mode 3 when turbine tripped due to the partial actuation of subsynchronous auxiliary relay. The reactor tripped approximately 17 seconds later on high pressurizer pressure. The partial actuation of the subsynchronous auxiliary relay was caused by touching an AC soldering iron to the energized 125VDC alarm circuit during performance of corrective maintenance.

09/30 2400 Ended the month in Mode 3.
