examined during this inspection
are described
in the enclosed
inspection report.
Within these
areas,
the inspection consisted of
selective
examinations
of procedures
and representative
records, inter-
views with personnel,
and observations
by the inspectors.
No violations or deviations of NRC requirements
were identified within
the scope of this inspection.
However, your attention is directed to
Section
14 concerning work control.
The most recent
Palo Verde
report,
dated February 2, 1988, identified work control
as
an area
needing additional
management
attention.
As discussed
in this report,
several
recent events
have served to reenforce this concern.
We
therefore
request
you review this area
and provide your assessment
in
wr iting to this office within thirty days of the receipt of this letter.
