Pursuant to References
- 1) and 2),
ANPP is providing its proposed schedule for meeting the requirements of paragraphs (C)(1) and (C)(2) of Reference 1).
As indicated in Reference 3),
ANPP is a participant in the Combustion Engineering Owners Group (GEOG) Program for compliance with the ATWS Rule.
The schedules for final implementation of the ATWS Rule requirements for PVNGS Units 1, 2 and 3 are as follows:
PVNGS Unit 1:
Prior to startup following the second refueling outage from issuance of OL authorizing operation above 5/o of full power.
PVNGS Unit 2:
Prior to startup following the second refueling outage from issuance of OL authorizing operation above 5X of full power.
PVNGS Unit 3:
Prior to startup from the first refueling outage after issuance of OL authorizing operation above 5X of full power.
This is due to the closeness of OL issuance and is consistent with PVNGS Unit 2 implementation.

The specific information required by paragraph (C)(6) of the rule will be submitted as soon as the preliminary design has been completed and approved by ANPP.
At this time it does not appear that ANPP will request an exemption from the req-uirements for the A'NS Rule.
This will be confirmed in our preliminary design submittal pursuant to paragraph (C)(6) of the rule.
