Request for Additional Information - Palo Verde, Units 1, 2 and 3
By letter dated Harch 22, 1983, you submitted a proposed revision to Table 3.2-1 of the Palo Verde FSAR.
The revision deleted, with no justifi-cation given, a commitment to apply the gA program to certain items during the operations phase of the plant.
Confirming telephone conversations with K. Jones and J. Horita of. zour
- staff, we cannot accept the proposed revision to Table 3.2-1 witllou4~
proper justification.
Therefore, we request that you provide the infor-mation listed in Enclosure l.
Please advise us as to when you plan to respond to this request.

~ 260.64 Clarify the proposed footnote cc of FSAR Table 3.2-1 to provide a
commitment that the equipment described by the footnote will be subject to the pertinent provisions of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B during the operations phase.
This can be done by making the last part of the last sentence of the footnote read:
"... Regulatory Guide 1.29 and shall be subject to the pertinent requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B during the operations phase."
