On October 1, 1979, you tendered a joint application for operating licenses for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3.

Your appli-cation consisted of a License Application, a Final Safety Analysis Report, Antitrust Information and an Emergency Plan.

Your Environmental Report was received on December 5, 1979 and your THI-2 Lessons Learned Implementation Report was received on September 28, 1979.

ate have completed our review of your tendered application and have concluded that it is acceptable for docketing.

Your application should be provided to us as soon as possible.

Your filing of the application and any amendments thereof should include three (3) originals signed under oath or affirmation by a duly authorized officer of your organization.

In addition, your filing should include fifteen (15) copies of that portion of the application contain-ing the general 'information, forty (40) copies of the safety analysis report, forty-one (41) copies of the environmental report, twenty-five (25) copies of the emergency plan, and forty (40) copies of the Tt)I-2 implementation report.

Also note that any amendments to the FSAR should consist of sixty (60) copies instead of the forty (40) required for initial submittal.

As required by 10 CFR 50.30, you should retain an additional ten (10) copies of the general information, thirty (30) copies of the safety analysis report, arid one-hundred-nine (109) copies of the environmental report for direct distribution in accord-ance with the enclosure to this letter and such further instructions as may be provided later.

Within ten days after docketing, you must provide an affidavit that distribution in accordance with the enclosure has'been completed.

These requirements also apply.to all subsequent amendments to your application.
