AMENDMENTS TO CONSTRUCTION PERMITS FOR PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 19 2, AND 3.
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendments No, 2 to Construction Permits CPPR-141, CPPR-142, and CPPR-143.
These amendments are in response to your request dated October 15, 1979, and provide for chemical
>seed control along portions of thi water pipeline route from the 91st Avenue Sewage Treatment Plant to the plant site.
Me have evaluated the potential for environmenta't impact of, the proposed amendment.
It is tive staff's conclusion that this method of ~iced control is acceptable..
Naving made this determination, ice have further concluded that the amendments involve action vthich is insignificant from the stand-point of environmental
- impact, and pursuant to 10 CFR Sections 51.5(d)(4) that an environmental impact statement, negative declaration, or environ-mental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection
>uith the issuance of these amendments, A copy of the related Federal Resister.Notice Is also enclosed.
