- Company, Southern California Edison
- Company, and Public Ser vi'ce Company of New thxico for construction of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3.
The amendments reflect a waiver to one of the permittee~s I
commitments made during the environmental review of the application and provide for chemical weed control along portions of the water pipeline', route from the 91st Avenue Sewage Treatment Plant to the plant site.
The amendments are effective as of the date of issuance, The application for the amendments complies <<ith the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1964, as
- amended, and the Commission's rules and regulations, Pr ior public notice of these amendments is not

required since the amendments do not involve a significant hazards considera-tion.
The Commission has determined that the. issuance of these amendIments will not result, in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51,5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement, or negative declaration OFFICE $
