Cicotte of this office on February 21-24, 1989, of activities authorized by,NRC License No. NPF-21, and, to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Cicotte with Mr. A. Oxsen, M of the inspec i C. Powers and other members of your staff at the conclusion n. Areas examine report. Based on the res its of this inspection, it appears that one of your t , Your response- to this Notice is to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201 as stated in Appendix A, Notice of Violation. This violation involves the fai lure to maintain conspicuous posting of a caution radiation area sign. Similar examples of failure to maintain radi~ation area postings have been previously brought to your, attention by our inspectors during this last year. In view of your planned April 1989 refueling outage we expect your response to the violation will describe more effective corrective actions. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in, the NRC Public Document Room.
