PURPOSE This procedure provides actions to respond to a loss of N12 SS Transformer.
B.
ENTRY CONDITIONS/SYMPTOMS 1.
SYMPTOMS The symptoms of loss of N12 SS Transformer are:
a.
Annunciator,L-20, 12A XFMR OR 12A BUS TROUBLE ALARM lit, or c.
Annunciator L-28, 12B XFMR OR 12B BUS TROUBLE ALARM lit.

Verify BOTH EMERGENCY D/Gs START I
IP one OR both emergency D/Gs do not start, THEN refer to ER-D/G.l, RESTORATION OF A PAILED D/G.

Verify Power To Both Trains Of Safeguards Busses:
o Bus 14 AND Bus 18 - GREATBR THAN 420 VOLTS
-AND-o Bus 16 AND Bus 17 - GREATER THAN 420 VOLTS Try to restore pover to all AC emergency busses.
IP pover can NOT be restored to at least one train, THEN go to ECA-O.O, LOSS OP ALL AC

Verify Service Water System Operation:

SW pumps - AT LBAST ONE RUNNING IN EACH LOOP b.
- GREATER THAN 40 PSIG IN EACH LOOP
- a. Manually start pumps as necessary.

5 Establish Appropriate Steps Of This Procedure To Be Performed:
IR turbine generator is tripped, THEN go to Step 12.
o Turbine generator ON LINE 6
Check S/G Level CONTROLLING Place MRV regulating valves in IN AUTO MANUAL and control feed flow as required.
7 Establish Charging Flow:

Check D/G loading - LESS THAN 1875 KV

ONE CHARGING PUMP (75 KV each)
- c. Ad]ust charging flow and HCV-142 as necessary
- TO MAINTAINRCP LABYRINTH SEAL D/P GREATER THAN 15 INCHES H20 AND PRESSURIZER LEVEL GREATER THAN 13X a.
Shed sufficient non-essential loads to provide adequate D/G capacity for charging pumps (75 KV each).

Letdown pressure
- APPROXIMATELY 250 PSIG IF letdown is isolated, THEN:
- a. Adjust charging pump speed and HCV-142 to establish greater than 20 GPM charging line flow to REGEN Hx.
- b. Verify letdown isolation valve AOV-371 is open.
- c. Place letdown orifice valves to close (AOV-200A, AOV-200B, AOV-202).
- d. Place letdown controllers TCV-130 and PCV-135 in manual'at 25X.
e.
Open loop B cold leg to REGEN Hx AOV-427.
- f. Open on 40 GPM letdown orifice isolation valve.
- g. Place TCV;130 in AUTO at approximately 105'F.
- h. Place PCV-135 in AUTO at 250 psig.
- i. Adjust charging pump speed and HCV-142 as necessary.

- LESS THAN 125'F AND STABLB OR DECRBASING (PPCS GROUP DISPLAY TCV)
- a. Start one CNMT recirc fan as D/G loading permits (240 KV each fan).
NOTE:
Power operation may continue if conditions required by Tech Spec section 3.7 are met.
