He have received copies of the following applications which were filed ~(ith the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (OHRR) for review'for the St. Lucie Plant Unit No. 2:

An April '19, 1983 {L-83-247) application for Technical Specification changes to modify the surveillance requirements of the pressurizer associated with the Reactor Coolant System.

and 2.

A June 15. 1983 (L-83-362) application for Technical Specification changes to al'low use of an alternate means of detection of PORV position indication.

Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 were not remitted with nor subsequent'Iy received for these applications.

r Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their pre-liminary review of your applications, it has been determined that a Class II fee ($1,200) is appropriate for Item 1 since the change will be administrative in nature, and a Class III fee ($4,000) is appropriate for Item 2 since the review will involve consideration of a single safety issue.. Therefore, you are requested to remit the sum of $5,200 to this office. If the ONRR staff's final review of your requests reveals'that thes'e fees are not appropriate, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
