WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT TO THE DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS REGARDING COOLANT LEAK DETECTION AND REVISION OF THE TIME PERIOD REQUIREMENT FOR IN-SERVICE INSPECTION (TAC NOS. 60071, 60072 AND 60073)
By letter dated October 29, 1985, you applied for an amendment to the Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3, Provisional and Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-19 and -25, respectively. The proposed change would have modified the facility Technical Specifications to implement the leak detection requirements of Generic Letter 84-11 and revise the time period requirements for conducting the in-service inspection (ISI) programs to reflect the second 10 year ISI period.
However, your staff subsequently informed the NRC, by letter dated August 4, 1989, that the amendment is no longer requested.
Ther~fore, your proposed change is considered withdrawn.
The Commission has*filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Provisional and Facility Operating Licenses with the Office of the Federal Register for publi~ation.
