UNIMPLEMENTED GENERIC SAFETY ISSUES AT SUS(UEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1
AND 2 (TAC NO. 75993)
On April 25, 1990 the staff issued Generic Letter 90-04 which requested information concerning the implementation status of certain generic safety issues (GSIs) at your facility.
Based on your responses to this Generic Letter, dated June 29, 1990, our own records, and discussions with your staff, we have updated our database on GSI implementation status.
The results of this effort were presented to the Commission at a meeting on October 25, 1990.
The enclosure to this letter summarizes the staff's understanding of the current status of those GSIs which remain unimplemented at Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2.
We appreciate the assistance you provided in responding to Generic Letter 90-04 and we encourage your timely completion of those GSIs listed in the enclosure.
