NINE MILE POINT 2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 1
By letter dated April 5, 1985 we transmitted the proposed schedule for review of the Nine Mile Point 2 (NMP-2) Technical specifications (tech specs).
formal transmittals of information from Niagara Mohawk are presently expected at four points during this review.
Those four points correspond to (1) week 17 (Marked-up tech specs with plant specific requirements),
(2) week 27 (Responses to questions and to proposals found unacceptable during NRC initial review), (3) week 48 (Resolution of NRC and Niagara ftohawk comments),
and (4) week 54 (Certification of the accuracy of the tech specs).
A submittal corresponding to week 17 has already been received by the NRC; therefore, only 3 additional submittals are expected.
If additional submittals are determined to be necessary at a later date, you will be informed as they become appropriate.
Seven copies of each transmittal should be submitted.
Each submittal should be sent directly to the project manager and marked "Open by Addressee Only."
If there are any questions concerning the above information please contact the licensing project manager, Mary Haughey (301-492-7897).
The above infor-mation is in accordance with discussions between M. Haughey and A. Zallnick of your staff on June 18 and 19, 1985.
