on May 15-17,
1989 at
your Nine Mle Point Nuclear Station, Scriba,
New York. Discussions of our
finchngs were presented
by Mr. Gordon to you ard your staff at the conclusion
of the inspect>on.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
in~~ion report which is enclosed with this letter.
Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures
ard repre-
sentative neords,
interviews with personnel,
and observations
made by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection,
no violations were identified.
Niagara
Mohawk Power Corporation's 'performance during the exercise demonstrated
the
ability to implement the Emergency Plan ard ~ency Plan Implementing
Procechues in a manner that would provide adequate protective measures for the
health and safety of the public.
