served to inform us of the actions
implemented in response
to the
Construction Appraisal
Team inspection
enforcement action.
We acknowledge
the
proposed revisions
to the Management Analysis Corporation
Phase
IV report,
we
recommend that the revisions
be. appended
to the final report in lieu of text
revision.
As you noted during the meeting,
the Management Analysis Corporation
recommen-
dations
and unsati sfactory findings will be analyzed
by Niagara
Mohawk Power
Corporation.
The failed sampling of the ITT-Grinnell Welding Nondestructive
Examination population
should
be addressed.
You agreed to provide
a formal
response
to those findings to Region I by March 29,
1985.
We appreciate
the interim discussions
held regarding your hardware re-verifica-
tion efforts and the associated
engineering
evaluations of those results.
We
plan to meet with you at the conclusion of those efforts to discuss
the results.
