Coiii!ENTS ON NINE iirLE POINT GUARD TRAINING PLAN Our review of the plan indicates that several revisions are required before the plan can be accepted.
- 1. ".. 1. 3. 2 Delete the sentence, "Plastic lenses will be considered acceptable."
1.2.1.7 Add to this section a commitment that the demonstration of performance will reflect both normal and emergency operations.
1.2. 1.8 Add to this section a commitment that resumption of duties is also based

1.3.1 1.3.2 Revise these sections to commit to the requirements of Part 73, Appendix B.I.C.
Add to this sectioi a commitment that all documentation will be retained on site for a period of at least 2 years.
2.1.1 Add to this section a commitment that the qualification records for each individual shall be documented and attested to by a licensee security supervisor.
2.2.4 Add to this section a commitment that all records will be retained on site for a period of at least 2 years.
2.3 Revise the third paragraph to reference section 2.2.4 of'he plan.
2.4 3.1.1.1 Revise the second paragraph to reference section 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 of the plan.
Commit to firing the NRA National Police Course or the NRA 25 yard course.
In addition, provide a chart indicating distances, positions, number of rounds and stage times.
3.1.2.1 Commit to using the B-27 target for qualification.
Additional Information Add to Chapter 3
a commitment to include the information required in Part 73 Appendix B.V.A.4 and 5.
Performance Obiectives Task 01 Commit to having the guard adjust and test the metal detector prior to conducting the search to ensure that it is working properly.
In addition, include a statement upon the action the guard takes if unauthorized materials are found.

Task 04 Commit to having the Access Contro'I Officer maintain access logs in accordance with 10 CFR 73.55(d)(6) and site procedures.
.In addition, coliimit to having the Access Control Officer ensure that an authorized escort is provided for visitors and that the visitor is briefed on emergency procedures.
Task 03 Corimit to having the escort guard ensure that access to only authorized areas are permitted and that the CAS/SAS are notified if unauthorized activities occur.
lask 10 Commit to having the vehicle escort guard ensure that access routes are not violated and that unauthorized materials are not loaded or unloaded.
Task 13 Commit to having the CAS/SRS operators ensure that access logs are annotated and that Security System malfunct'ions are recognized.

Commit to having the response guard ensure that any barrier or security door found unlocked or breached is secured.
In addition, commit to having the response guard inspect v.'t<al equipment for indications of tampering or sabotage.
Additional Tasks Add a task to describe the training w)iich guards receive on searching packages being brought into the protected area, relative to the require-ments of 10 CFR 73.55(d)(3) and (4).
