inspection

a review of your activities at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear

Power Plant

(DCPP), Units

1 and 2,,as

authorized

under

NRC Licenses

and

DPR-82

and to the discussion

of our preliminary inspection findings held

by the inspector with Mr. J.

Townsend

and other

members of your staff

identified in the enclosed

inspection report

on January

15,

1993.

Areas

examined during this inspection

included activities related to emergency

preparedness

as described

in the enclosed

inspection report.

Within these

areas,

the inspection consisted of selective

examination of procedures

and

representative

records,

interviews with facility and contract personnel,

and

observations

of activities in progress.

No violations of NRC requirements

were identified within the scope of this

inspection.

In accordance

with 10.CFR 2.790(a),
