The IDVP Interim Technical Report 14, dated December 6, 1982, includes temperature and pressure environmental aspects for safety related equipment in the auxiliary feedwater system with respect to a potential main steam line break outside containment.

We request that you provide us with the information listed in the enclosure necessary to calculate the temperature and pressure transients in area GE of the auxiliary building (elevation 115 feet - 0 inch) resulting from a main steam line break in area GW.

We intend to determine, separately from the IDVP, the temperature and pressure profiles for this case for comparison with the IDVP results.
