NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE NORTHWEST MEDICAL ISOTOPES, LLC RADIOISOTOPE PRODUCTION FACILITY CONSTRUCTION PERMIT APPLICATION (CAC NO. MF6135)

Dear Ms. Tapia:

Enclosed are two bound copies and three electronic copies of the draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Northwest Medical Isotopes, LLC (NWMI), medical radioisotope production facility construction permit.

The draft EIS was submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency via e-NEPA on November 4, 2016, and copies were mailed or e-mailed to interested Federal and State agencies, industry organizations, interested groups, and members of the public. A copy of this document has also been placed in the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) Public Document Room, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland 20852, and in the NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), which is accessible on the NRCs website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The ADAMS Accession Number is ML16305A029.

A public meeting to discuss the draft EIS will be held at 6:00 p.m. on December 6, 2016, at the Holiday Inn East-Columbia, 915 Port Way, Columbia, Missouri. Additionally, the NRC staff will host informal discussions one hour prior to the start of the meeting at the same location.
