[External_Sender] CCNPP NFPA 805 License Amendment Request: Clarifications to final integrated response Recovery Actions for earlier RAIs Date:
Tuesday, August 02, 2016 3:50:08 PM Richard:
Thank you for the opportunity today to discuss the CCNPP NFPA LAR. The final integrated response described in our letter dated April 22, 2016 (ADAMS - ML16117A499 (Reference 15)) provided updated Attachments C and G that supersede our response to SSA RAI 15C and SSA RAI 14.
Recovery actions (RAs) described in our letter dated April 13, 2015 (ADAMS -ML15107A029 (Ref. 11)) provided a response to SSA RAI 15C. Specifically, RAs for VFDRs 18-16-2, 19-01-1, 20-02-1, 21-02-1, and 22-05-2 associated with the loss instrument air were clarified.
Subsequent analysis associated with the final integrated plant response determined that RAs for the above VFDRs were not required. The CCNPP response to SSA RAI 15C is superseded by the information in the April 22, 2016 letter.
Recovery actions (RAs) described in our letter dated February 9, 2015 (ADAMS -
ML15229A143 (Ref. 9)) provided a response to SSA RAI 14. Specifically, RAs that cross-tie Unit 1 and Unit 2 systems for Fire Areas 18, 19, 20, 22, 25 and 34 were clarified. Subsequent analysis associated with the final integrated plant response determined that RAs to cross-tie Unit 1 and Unit 2 systems were not required. The CCNPP response to SSA RAI 14 is superseded by the information in the April 22, 2016 letter.
