On June 27, 1980, a Region II inspector requested that two deficient steam generator mainway bolts be put aside for further independent metallurgical analysis. The shipping instructions for these bolts are as follows:

a. Ship to: Battelle Columbus West Jefferson Site 505 King Avenue, Bldg., JN-1 Columbus, OH 43201 ATTN:

Lee V. Pasopathi

b. Ship Federal Express at Battelle's expense (Federal Express can handle up to 70 pounds for this type shipment)
c. Special Nuclear Material License at Battelle - SNM-7 By-Product Materials License at Battelle 6854-05 Please notify Mr. A. R. Herdt of this office when shipped, and if you have any questions in this matter. Thank you for your cooperation with us in this matter.
