Dear Mr. Shea:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has forwarded the enclosed correction to a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to Facility Operating License and Opportunity for a Hearing to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.

This correction relates to your application dated March 31, 2015, as supplemented, in which you request a change to Technical Specification {TS) 4.2.1 "Fuel Assemblies" to increase the number of Tritium-producing burnable absorber rods. The correction adds a reference to an omitted supplement dated April 28, 2015, "Correction to Application to Revise Technical Specification 4.2.1, 'Fuel Assemblies' (WBN-TS-15-03)," on page 38755 of the Federal Register notice published July 7, 2015 (80 FR 38752). The omitted supplement corrects a typographical error in the March 31, 2015 application and does not change the description or scope of the proposed action to amend the Facility Operating License at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 1.

SUMMARY

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRG) is correcting a notice that was published in the Federal Register (FR) on July 7, 2015, regarding the opportunity to request a hearing and to petition for leave to intervene on a request to amend the facility operating license of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 1. This action is necessary to include an additional supplement that corrected a typographical error in the original license amendment request that was erroneously omitted in the notice dated July 7, 2015.
