STEAM GENERATOR TUBE SLEEVING PROGRAM REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Re: Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 We have been reviewing your January 16, 1986 request to use sleeving as a repair method for the steam generator tubes. To complete our review, we need the additional information identified in the enclosure.
We request that you respond to this request for additional information within thirty days of the date of this letter.
The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements contained in this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.

REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION STEAM GENERATOR TUBE SLEEVING PROGRAM OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1, 2 AND 3 DOCKET NOS. 50-269, 50-270 AND 50-287
- 1. Provide the basis for the area dose rate estimates indicated in Section 4.4 of Exhibit B to your January 16, 1986 letter requesting an amendment to the Oconee Facility Operating License and revision to the Technical Specifica tions concerning the steam generator tube sleeving program.
- 2. Only "no contingency" steam generator tube sleeving operational dose esti mates are provided. Provide a table with the operational dose estimates including conservative estimates of contingencies expected in the sleeving operation.
Include the same detail provided on Page 4-6 of Exhibit B.
- 3. Provide a discussion of your training program to be provided to the workers involved in the steam generator tube sleeving operations utilizing the provisions of Regulatory Guide 8.27, 8.19 and 8.13 as guidance, or outline an equivalent training program.
