This letter is In response to your June 2, 1980 letter requesting guidance concerning our May 7, 1980 letter on five addltional TMI-2 related require ments for operating reactors.
I.A.1.3 Shift Manning - Provide your response 30 days from receipt of the separate correspondence indicated in our May 7, 1980 letter.
II.K.3.3 Safety and Relief Valves - Use the implementation schedule of ; submit report by January 1, 1981, but start using data from April 1, 1980.
II.K.3.5 Automatic Trip of RC Pumps during LOCA - We recognize the possible need for revision of the schedule for this item. We will keep the licensees for operating pressurized water reactors informed of any change of scope or schedule. In the meantime, our schedule is not changed.'
II.K.3.17 Outage of ECC Systems - The 14 day outage for HPCI given in our May 7, 1980 letter uses boiling water reactors as an example. This item applies to all light water reactors and should be included in your response.
II.K.3.25 Effect of Loss of AC Power on Reactor Recirculation Pump Seal Coolers, II.K.3.29 Performance of Isolation Condensers and II.K.3.44 Single Failure - These three items are applicable to BWRs, only.
II.K.3.30 Revised SBLOCA Methods - The proper scheduled implementation date is that shown in Enclosure 1, July 1, 1983.
