Dear Mr. Parker:

OI&E-3 Your letter of March 28, 1980, requested a change to the Oconee Nuclear Station Technical Specifications. This change request involved parts of the radiological effluent technical specifications (RETS) implement ing 1O.CFR 50, Appendix I, at your station.

We plan to include your March 28, 1980 request as part of our overall review of your Appendix I submittals. In this regard, a marked-up copy of the Oconee RETS was provided to Mr. Robert Gill, of your staff, during his visit to the NRC offices in Bethesda, Maryland, on May 23, 1980. This mark-up represents the staff's detailed review of your RETS based on NUREG-0472, February 1980.

We request that you resubmit the iETS based on the above mark-up, and also include your revised Offsite Dose Calculation Manual and proposed process control program for the solid waste system.

We request submittal of all the above documentation. within 90 days of receipt of this letter.
