NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-269/96-14, 50-270/96-14, AND
50-287/96-14
Dear Mr. Hampton:
On September 19, 1996, the NRC completed an inspection at your Oconee Nuclear
Site. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
During the week of September 16-19, 1996, an inspection team observed selected
portions of your emergency organization's response in key facilities during
the emergency preparedness exercise conducted on September 17, 1996. The
emergency response observed during the simulated accident was considered
satisfactory.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of

letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room
(PDR).
