In your petition, you raised several concerns with the ultimate heat sink at the Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 3 and 4 and requested that actions to be taken by NRC and Florida Power & Light (the licensee for Turkey Point). Your request was reviewed by the NRC's Petition Review Board (PRB). On January 30, 2015, the NRC provided you a letter stating that the NRC accepted, in part, your petition for review. That letter discussed the PRB's plan for resolving your petition.
The PRB continues to review your petition. The NRC's target date to complete its review of the petition is September 30, 2015.
