AND 10 CFR 50.75(h)(2)- QUESTION WITHDRAWAL (TAC NO. MF3875)
Dear Mr. Hobbs:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is reviewing Duke Energy Florida, Inc.'s (the licensee) request for exemption from Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (1 0 CFR) 50.82(a)(8)(1)(A) and 10 CFR 50.75(h)(2), dated March 28, 2014 (NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14098A037). On May 21, 2014 the NRC staff issued a request for additional information (RAI) regarding the review of the exemption request. The RAI can be found in ADAMS at Accession No. ML14153A691.
On June 13, 2014, the NRC staff held a conference call with representatives of the licensee to clarify the RAI, which was related to the content of the decommissioning trust fund. The basis for the question was discussed and the NRC staff decided to withdraw the question because it concluded that information requested in the RAI was not necessary to complete the exemption evaluation.
