NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-261/90-08
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted by
N. Merriweather on April 16-20,
1990.
The inspection included a review of
activities authorized for your H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant Unit 2. At
the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed Inspection Report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records,
interviews with personnel,
and observation of
activities in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations were not
identified.
The enclosed Inspection Report documents our understanding of your planned
actions in response to our findings (see paragraph 2.b.), and were discussed
both in the exit and during followup telephone calls on April 26 and May 3, 1990.
Please confirm in writing within 30 days of this report, that we have either
appropriately described the planned actions you have committed to take or
provide the appropriate clarification.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and its enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
