CLOSE-OUT OF EVENT NO. 10237 SAN ONOFRE UNIT 1 Confirming our discussions on the subject of a newly-discovered ESF single failure vulnerability at San Onofre 1 reported on October 7, 1987 (and tracked by you as event no. 10237), final review of longer-term corrective action is being conducted by the ICSB, PSB, and RSB under Tac No. 66624. The review will be completed before the next refueling on or about October 1, 1988.
Therefore, we believe this matter should be considered closed with respect to any further follow-up by the Events Assessment Branch.
