San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1 Enclosed for your information is a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to Provisional Operating License and Opportunity for Hearing. The notice relates to your request to (1) revise the Technical Specification (TS) section on Control Room Emergency Air Treatment System to include testing and surveillance requirements of a planned modification and to (2) revise the TS to allow for suspension of PORV Block Value surveillance testing during periods when the block valves are being maintained closed in order to satisfy the action requirements of the TS.
The Notice has been sent to Office of the Federal Register for publication.
