ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 117 TO PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT NO. 1 (TAC NO. 67902)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 117 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated April 15, 1988, as supplemented October 18 and 21, and November 10, 19 and 23 (2 letters), 1988.
The amendment pproves the installation of the upgraded Nuclear Instrumentation System, together with modified limiting conditions for operation and surveillance requirements in the Technical Specifications for the upgraded system.
Copies of our related Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
