dated August 1, 2013 The purpose of this letter is to provide additional information on the interim action regulatory commitments described in References (a) and (c) for Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (CCNPP) and Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station (NMPNS), respectively. Reference (c) revised the regulatory commitments provided in Reference (b).

Two reevaluated flood mechanisms, local Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) and Probable Maximum Storm Surge (PMSS) exceeded the current design basis flood for Calvert Cliffs Units I and 2.

One reevaluated flood mechanism, local PMP, exceeded the current design basis flood for both NMP1 and NMP2.

The following tables provide a list of the interim actions taken and one action to be taken in the future, with additional supporting details. Neither NMPNS nor CCNPP will modify any of these interim actions without notifying the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in advance.
