UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 August 15, 2014 Ms. Mary G. Korsnick Chief Nuclear Officer Exelon Generation Company, LLC 100 Constellation Way, Suite 500P Baltimore, MD 21202
SUBJECT:
CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT. UNITS 1 AND 2 -
CORRECTION LETTER REGARDING PLAN FOR THE ONSITE AUDIT REGARDING IMPLEMENTATION OF MITIGATING STRATEGIES AND RELIABLE SPENT FUEL POOL INSTRUMENTATION RELATED TO ORDERS EA-12-049 AND EA-12-051 (TAC NOS. MF1142. MF1143, MF1140, AND MF1141)
Dear Ms. Korsnick:
By letter dated August 5, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14210A449), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a plan for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Calvert Cliffs) onsite audit regarding implementation of the Mitigating Strategies and Reliable Spent Fuel Pool Instrumentation Orders EA-12-049 and EA-12-051, respectively. The plan outlines the onsite audit process, while the NRC staff is onsite at Calvert Cliffs from September 8- 11, 2014.
After issuance of the August 5, 2014, audit plan, the NRC staff identified two administrative errors. Specifically, the cover letter addressee was incorrect and the licensee of Calvert Cliffs was incorrect. The addressee on the audit plan should be Ms. Mary G. Korsnick and the licensee of Calvert Cliffs should be Exelon Generation Company, LLC. The errors do not affect the content of the audit Plan for Calvert Cliffs.
M. Korsnick We regret any inconvenience these errors may have caused. If you have any questions, please contact me at 301-415-5888 or by email at Jason.Paige@nrc.gov.
