CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 NUCLEAR PLANT - REVIEW OF THE PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN, REVISION 5 (TAC NO. ME9874)
Dear Mr. Franke:
By letter dated August 2, 2012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML12216A319), as supplemented December 10, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML12353A093), Florida Power Corporation (the licensee) submitted the fleet physical security plan, security training and qualification plan, safeguards contingency plan, and independent spent fuel storage installation security program, revision 5. The enclosure to the letters contained safeguards information and was withheld from public disclosure.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff reviewed the submittal to ensure compliance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.54{p )(2) and to ensure that the changes did not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the NRC-approved security plans. The NRC staff has completed its review and has no further questions at this time. The NRC staff will close Task Activity Code ME9874.
