(~sv~c IOC'602.)1.4.5 Termination Cabinets The frames and enclosures of Limerick termination cabinets are the same size and structurally identical to the tested termination cabinet (Reference 4). The only difference between the Limerick cabinets and the tested termination cabinet is the quantity and location of termination modules. This will not affect the structural capability of the cabinets.

The TRS envelops the RRS as shown in the Appendix, Fugure 4.2.These cabinets are located in the Control Room, elevation 269'.The SQRT forms for the Class IE Termination Cabinets (P700 series) are contained in Section 3.1.4.6 Floor Mounting 1.4.6.1 AuxiliaryZ quipment Room, 289' Elevation Panels located in the Auxiliary Equipment Room are mounted on PGCC floor sections.

As shown in Ref. 5, sections similar to those at Limerick were tested to determine if there were any amplifications of accelerations to the panels. Panel accelerometer readings show that the floor sections actually reduce the transmissibility on the tested panels by as much as 10 percent. This is due to structural damping. The results presented in this report consepvatively assume that the 3floor sections are rigid, and no credit is taken for the reduced transmissibility.

1.4.6.2 Control Room, 269' Elevation Panels located in the control room (and C61-POOl) are bolted to a 4" base which is welded to the floor. This base was on the tested Limerick H12-P601, P603, and P661 panels. Examination of test data in panels without this base shows no appreciable difference in transmissibilities.

The base is therefore assumed rigid.1-8 Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 C-50 MPR-3796, Revision 1 Cnrrqnnnrt.nrA Nn -RR-19-171 Equipment ID: 10C602 Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 MPR-3796, Revision 1 flnrrn-nnndP~nrA Nn* RR-19-171 C-51 Equipment ID: 10C602 I I Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 MPR-3796, Revision 1 r.nrrP.nnndPnr.P Nn -PS-1-171 C-52 Equipment ID: 10C602 r4 C6, Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 C-53 MPR-3796, Revision 1 nrrnmnnndp~nrc Nn

The results presented in this report conservatively assume that the floor sections are rigid, and no credit is taken for the reduced transmissibility.

1.4.6.2 Control Room, 269' Elevation Panels located in the control room (and C61-POO1) are bolted to a 4" base which is welded to the floor. This base was on the tested Limerick H12-P601, P603, and P661 panels. Examination of test data in panels without this base shows no appreciable difference in transmissibilities.

The base is therefore assumed rigid.1-8 Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 C-65 MPR-3796, Revision 1 CnrrPnnnd, nr.p Nn -RR- 2-171 Equipment ID: 10C626 I I I Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 MPR-3796, Revision 1 CnrrP.nnndPnr-a Nn -RR-19-171 C-66 Equipment ID: 10C626 Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 MPR-3796, Revision 1 rnrrPnnnrl~nrP.
