DATE & TIME: Thursday, November 15, 2012 12:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m. EST LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 013B4 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The purpose of the meeting between FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC, the licensee), and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss a proposed future license amendment request involving the implementation of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.61 a, "Alternate fracture toughness requirements for protection against pressurized thermal shock events," at Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 1.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
