OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NOS. ME6854, ME6855, AND ME6856)
Dear:
Mr. Gillespie By letter dated August 12, 2011, and supplemented by letters August 16,2011, and August 18, 2011, you applied for amendments to the Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, respectively, Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47, and DPR-55. The proposed amendments would have revised the Technical Specifications (TSs) by approving a one-time exigent change to extend the allowed outage time for TS Section 3.10.1 F.1, "Standby Shutdown Facility (SSF)," by 48 hours5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br /> to allow the licensee to declare the new fuses and fuse blocks that will be installed to replace the in-containment circuit breakers for the SSF controlled pressurizer heaters from fully functional to TS operable. Subsequently, by letter dated August 22,2011, you withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
