Dear Mr. Duncan:

This letter confirms a Category 1 meeting which has been scheduled for August 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting notice, which provides location and additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of this Regulatory Performance Meeting is to discuss corrective actions associated with the Unplanned Scrams per 7000 Critical Hours performance indicator crossing the threshold from Green to White in the third quarter of 2010 and the three White Inspection findings that were documented in NRC Inspection Reports 05000261/2010006 and 05000261/2011008. The findings dealt with the licensees failure to: (1). correct a condition adverse to quality in B Emergency Diesel Generator output breaker 52/27B, (2). adequately design and implement operator training based on learning objectives as required by 10 CFR 55.59(c), and (3).

adequately implement requirements of multiple procedures required by Technical Specification 5.4.1, during an uncontrolled cooldown of the Reactor Coolant System and subsequent safety injection after a reactor trip on March 28, 2010.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
