FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH PROGRESS ENERGY REGARDING CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT DATE & TIME: Thursday, April 21, 2011 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time)

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

One White Flint North, Room 0-7B4 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, Maryland 20852 PURPOSE: This is an extended power uprate (EPU) preapplication meeting between Progress Energy, representing Florida Power Corporation (the licensee),

and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the licensee's overall plans associated with an EPU application, which will be submitted at a later date for the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
